Some members attended seminar on "Food Safety for Agro Food & Food Industries Business" jointly organized by Minister of Modernization of Agriculture Sarawak, Malaysian Institute Food Technologist (MIFT) and Department of Agriculture at Kuching Hilton Hotel. Mr. Lee Choon Kheng, the President of Sarawak Aquaculture Association / Council Member of SMA, presented a paper on "Enhancing Competitiveness of Agro-Food Production in Sarawak". Mr. Chai, Honorary President, the Vice-President (Internal Affairs) and a Council Member (Mr. Ho) were invited to chair several sessions respectively at the seminar.
