A Visit to Sabah International Expo (SIE) 2004 at Sutera Harbour KK from 8 to 10 September 2004

Mr. Chai Foh Chin, Honorary President of SMA led a small delegation to Kota Kinabalu for the Sabah International Expo (SIE) and Conference 2004 held at the Sutera Harbour, KK from 8th to 10th September 2004.

They were well received by the organizer, Federation of Sabah Manufacturers (FSM) led by its President, Datuk Wong Khen Thau. The SMA members also met many Sabah state ministers, heads of Government departments both at state and federal levels. More than 20 foreign ambassadors, consul-generals and trader commissioners have also met SMA delegates. The events were of great success and Mr. Chai Foh Chin, our Honorary President congratulated FSM President for having successfully organized such a big event.

At the welcoming dinner hosted by the Minister of Industrial Development Sabah: YB Datuk Ewon Ebin, Minister of Industrial Development Sabah (R4); Mr. Fidel V. Ramos, former Philippines President (L4); Mr. Chai Foh Chin, Honorary President of SMA (L3); Datuk Wong Khen Thau, President of FSM (R3); Mr. Lai King Min, Vice-President of SMA (L2); Ms. Mariana Ung, Deputy Secretary-General of SMA (extreme right); Mr. Chai Koh Haw, Council Member of SMA (R2) and Mr. Wesley Chai, members of SMA (extreme left).
