Sabah International Expo 2006 (SIE 2006)
Sabah International Expo (SIE) is a multisector trade and investment exposition held every two years. This highly anticipated event is being held for the fourth time.Sabah International Expo 2006 (SIE2006)will be held from 10 - 13 August 2006 at Grand Ballroom, Magellan Sutera Hotel, Sutera Harbour Resort, Kota Kinabalu, Sabah.
Sabah's premier trade exhibition focuses on the development of business, trade and investment opportunities both within the State of Sabah and Malaysia generally and with important regional and international trading partners.
SIE2006 will have exhibitors from more than 20 countries and takes advantage of Sabah being located in the centre of Brunei Darussalam-Indonesia-Malaysia-Philippines-East ASEAN Growth Area (BIMP-EAGA). This sub-regional economic co-operative zone covers more than 1.5 million sq. km. and has a population of approximately 60 million people.
The Malaysian International Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MICCI), Sabah Branch and The Federation of Sabah Manufacturers (FSM)have the privilege of jointly organizing SIE2006, a Sabah State Government sanctioned event.
Sabah International Business Conference 2006 (SIBC2006)
The Sabah International Business Conference 2006 (SIBC2006) in conjunction with Sabah International Expo 2006 (SIE2006) will be held on 9 August 2006 at Grand Ballroom, Pacific Sutera Hotel,Kota Kinabalu, Sabah.
YAB Datuk Musa Haji Aman, Chief Minister of Sabah will deliver a Keynote Address and Opening Remarks at SIBC2006.

Continuing on the theme of Investment Opportunities in Palm Oil Industry, a half day Workshop on Biodiesel will be organized with the Malaysian German Chamber Of Commerce and Industry at SIE2006 on 10 August 2006 at 2pm. Participants can obtain insight into biodiesel, its production and its rapidly expanding markets. Several German technologies for the production of biodiesel from palm oil feedstock will be presented at this very relevant workshop.
