Registration for GST before 31 December 2014
Businesses with an annual sales turnover of more than RM500,000 are required to register with the Royal Malaysian Customs Department for the implementation of the Goods and Services Tax (GST), before 31 December 2014.
Businesses include an individual, sole proprietor, partnership, company etc. are liable to be registered under GST.
However, businesses with less than RM500,000 in annual sales turnover could voluntarily register their companies. The advantage of doing so entitles to obtain input tax credits for GST pay on goods or services that acquired.

Registration can be made via Taxpayer Access Point (TAP) online or through a manual submission to the Customs Department in Kelana Jaya.

The form is to be submitted to the GST Processing Center, Royal Malaysian Customs Department, No. 22, Jalan SS 6/3, Kelana Jaya, 47301 Petaling Jaya, Selangor either by hand or by post.
