SME Corp. Malaysia

The Small and Medium Industries Development Corporation (SMIDEC) has been officially known as Small and Medium Enterprises Corporation Malaysia (SME Corp Malaysia) commenced on 2 October 2009. SME Corp Malaysia is now the central point of reference for information and advisory services for all SMEs in Malaysia.

To provide greater financial accessabilities, the Government through SME Corp Malaysia and other agencies offers various grants and incentives to the SMEs. Partial grants are provided to finance product, process and quality improvements, market development, skills upgrading, factory audit and acquisition of strategic technology. The Government realises that access to financing is still a major problem for SMEs especially for expansion and business development. In this regard, the Government through SME Corp Malaysia and commercial institutions provide loans for working capital, purchase of fixed assets and project financing.

Sarawak Manufacturers are encouraged to apply the grants and soft loans from SME Corp Malaysia. For further information, please contact:
