Apply for exemption from MCO with MITI
The Government has directed for the STRICT OBSERVATION of the Movement Control Order (MCO) to minimise human contact in the interest of the health and well-being of the entire nation.
The Government has agreed for the following manufacturers of essential goods to be exempted from the Movement Control Order. We understand that the Government will not be accepting any further request for exemption. Please view the Media Statement:
The exemption is NOT automatic. MITI has released the online e-form for the exemption approval process which also requires companies to attach a list of employees (name and IC number) who will be working during this period.

Request Form To Maintain Machineries At Warm Idle Mode During Movement Control Order Period
It is understood that industries including iron & steel, glass, ceramics, petrochemicals and oleo-chemicals require to run furnaces / kilns / crackers on a continuous 24/7 basis. In this regard, MITI will consider applications from the above mentioned industries to allow for their machineries to be maintained at warm idle mode during this period.
